Charlotte Ronson for My Melody

These are a line of handbags (at least I think that they're
handbags, they look more like cosmetic bags to me) designed
by Charlotte Ronson for My Melody. Kind of cute in an ugly
sort of way.

Priced from 4095 to 6195 Yen.

Hello Kitty Japanese Style Child's Schoolbag

I always loved Japanese style schoolbags. They look so cute and sturdy. Which they should be if you're going to pay 29,800 Yen for them. Obviously these are investment pieces that should last several years.

Before anyone asks (and I doubt you will) I have no idea where you would purchase this dress. That's if one would actually want to purchase it. I just had to share. :D

Dah Sing Bank Hello Kitty Credit Cards

Like this post? Digg it! | add to Technorati | Post to Del.icio.us | Furl it | Spurl it
We all have to spend money. Many of us feel that we have to spend money on Hello Kitty. Using your average ugly run of the mill credit card to make purchases is a cold, humorless exchange. Well there's an answer for that...

Hong Kong's Dah Sing Bank offers six designs of their Hello Kitty Visa cards (regular Visas up to Gold and Platinum) including the "new '70's vintage' thermo chromic" card which changes colour as it heats up. Not only that, but they also offer cheques:

and also something called a "personalized Octopus Card" (??), a "Smile Club" which offers rewards and benefits such as the Sanrio Japan Exhibition and Hello Kitty trip to Japan with Egl Tours. Those who have a successfull application on or before August 30 receive welcome gifts like HK Water Dispenser, phone or vacuum.

Americans also can apply for the Hello Kitty Platinum Plus Visa Card.

I made an earlier post a few days ago about Hello Kitty fans that like to customize their cars. If your taste lies in that direction (and your car has bucket seats) you might want to consider these Hello Kitty Bucket Seat Covers in Violet.

"Easy stretchable fits most bucket seats without armrest or sideseat
airbags.

Add fun and fashion to the normal features and functions of seat covers.

Sold in pairs."

Hello Kitty Water Dispenser

I thought I'd talk about a Hello Kitty product I actually own (unfortunately I don't own much) which is the Hello Kitty Water Dispenser.

I purchased this from my local Walmart for $14.99CAD. As you can guess from the cheap price this isn't a cooler, you don't plug it in. It holds 64oz or just under 2 litres of water or any beverage you want. I have it on my desk and it doesn't take up much space. Honestly I never fill it up, but that's my laziness and I don't regret getting it.

Hello Kitty Sewing Machines

Like this post? Digg it! | add to Technorati | Post to Del.icio.us | Furl it | Spurl it

I don't sew. Not that I don't want to sew, but I seem to be missing that elusive "sewing gene". I barely passed my sewing class in home economics and whenever I try to attempt to mend anything it either falls apart immediately or I half stab myself to death trying to thread the needle. Anyway, enough about me. I came across this snazzy little number from Target which has some decent reviews. Here's the technical jargon from the website:

• Adorable compact sewing machine—perfect for Hello Kitty fans—with 6 built-in stitches plus buttonhole
• Features reverse stitch for reinforcing seams, easy lay-in threading system and 4-point feed-dog system to keep fabric feeding straight
• Has a free-arm design for sewing hard-to-reach areas, a handle for simple moving from room to room and a snap-on foot system
• Made of high-impact ABS resin; UL listed
• 10Hx5.62Wx12.75L"

Whatever that means.

There's also this cheaper version described as ".. Great first sewing machine for budding dressmakers.." i.e. children or idiots like myself. Personally, I like the second one better. Less buttons.
